Lemme Tell You About Stress :(

SO THAT LOOKS LIKE ME JUST A FEW MINUTES AGO.. O__o


Do you have stress??? YES! Everyone has stress even babies! < yeah  I know right! When my gym teacher told me Babies have stress I was a little iffy.. But She know's what she's talking about so I believe her.. But anyway.. Everyone has stress, but not everyone knows how to deal with the stress. First here are some reasons you maybe stressed out as a teen. 



  • Pressure to do good in school
  • pressure to wear certain types of clothing or hairstyles
  • pressure to try drugs, alcohol or sex
  • pressure to fit in
  • family and peer conflicts
  • taking on too many activities at one time
  • weight


Now here are a couple of ways to ease the stress. They may seem like they aren't going to work, but you may be surprised. 

  • Taking deep breaths and encouraging yourself < I do this often
  • Breaking large goals, down into smaller goals
  • Exercising and eating regularly
  • Focusing on things you can control and letting go of things you cannot control
  • Rehearsing and practicing feared situations like speaking in public
  • Talking about problems with others
  • Lowering unrealistic goals 
  • Taking breaks and doing enjoyable activities, like music, art, sports, socializing
  • Accepting yourself as you are, realizing no one is perfect!
Sounds kinda cheesy, but it def. doesn't hurt to try! :)
